Tiny's First Move
Today we moved the tiny house seven miles away to my grandparents' house to sit for the summer. I used the site UShip which has different people bid for your job. I picked a guy named Paul who had towed other tiny houses in the past. He showed up at 7 a.m. and we were positioned in the tiny's new spot by 8 a.m. He was super confident and made the whole towing process super relaxed.
I considered renting a truck and towing the house myself but for just a bit more, Paul had $100,000 insurance coverage, temporary plates and towing experience, making the slightly more expensive option, seem very worth it.
